SMS Beta Test and New Budget minimum

Beta Testing SMS alerts.

If you want to participate in the beta test login and add your SMS email under My Alerts.

Right now we have an example for Sprint/Nextel alerts which is
phone_number (at) messaging.sprintpcs.com

If anyone knows other major carriers format for email -> text message please post it here in the comments and we will add that example.

SMS alerts will be sent out in order based on total credit purchases. This way our best customers get alerts first. (This is also the order our emails get sent out) Since we send so many emails everyday, our mail server can get clogged up and it can take hours to get notified via email - we are going to use another server just for SMS alerts so they get sent out instantly!

New Budget Minimum:

We have also removed the Under $100 budget level. Most people posting projects paying less than $100 are either not serious or do not understand the value of design service.

We will now only allow projects with budgets above $100.

Have you added your photo?

This is how Clients see the list of providers (thats you) bidding on their project. If you havent uploaded a photo they see a generic image so get your pics up there!

Here is a screen shot from a clients screen:

Unacknowledged bidders show up as a ? until they go to the acknowledge screen.
They see a small thumbnail that pops-up to full size when they mouseover.

New Features

You have probably noticed the new leads page, hopefully this makes it easier to manage your leads. Here are a few of the fixes we did this week.

1) Removed sold out projects from search results
2) fixed problem with safari/FF users trying to post projects due to disclaimer
3) fixed watch leads button to work with all browsers
4) added SEO (and a few other items) into the Web Design category for posting projects
5) added phone2/cell phone to client registration form and client detail screen
6) redesigned entire provider leads page for ease of use
7) add RFP number to provider leads page
8) changed status so RFPs reported bogus to show "investigating" when reported
9) there are actually another 5 or so I am too lazy to type, im sure you will notice them as you go...

Were still working in making the system better, keep your suggestions coming.
